Amdani Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is an opportunity to earn a salary, gain hand-on-experience and achieve a nationally recognised qualification while still able to access the benefits of working for Carmarthenshire County Council.

As an apprentice, you will be mentored by our experienced staff while also spending a portion of your paid time attending training with your training provider to help you gain the skills you need to complete your qualification. Our Amdani apprenticeship programme is for anyone 16 or over who are early in their career or looking for a career change, there is no upper age limit but there may be some restrictions or other entry requirements depending on the role you are applying for.

We offer apprenticeships in Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT, Mechanical Engineer, AAT, Construction Management and a variety of other apprenticeships so keep an eye out.

As an apprentice, there are opportunities to use your Welsh language daily through conversations with customers and your team and undertake your learning bilingually.

For more information about Amdani, look at our FAQ section.
