Carmarthenshire County Council is offering a range of exciting apprenticeship opportunities starting in September 2026.

As an apprentice, you will be mentored by our experienced staff while also spending a portion of your paid time attending training with your training provider to help you gain the skills you need to complete your qualification. Our Amdani apprenticeship programme is for anyone 16 or over who are early in their career or looking for a career change, there is no upper age limit but there may be some restrictions or other entry requirements depending on the role you are applying for.

Business Support Apprentice x2

 

Join our Business Support and Commissioning Team and take the first step towards a rewarding career in administration. We're offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow as a Business Support Assistant.

As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience delivering vital administrative support across the Department for Social Services and Housing. From managing enquiries and producing reports to supporting team projects whilst completing a relevant qualification, you'll develop essential skills in a professional and supportive environment.

During the recruitment day, we will be looking to find out more about you, your skills and your experiences. 

If you need us to make any reasonable adjustments to attend the recruitment day so that we can see you at your best, let us know and we will make sure that we contact you to put them place before the day. 

 

What to expect during the recruitment day:

You will have the opportunity to take part in an online activity designed to explore how you work as part of a team and make decisions. 

Don’t worry about getting online, we’ll be able to support you, should you need assistance.
