Food waste
Food collections are weekly. We turn your food into energy and fertiliser. You should place your bin out for collection by 6am on collection day. Just 6 recycled teabags can produce enough electricity to make another cuppa.
We provide:
- A kitchen caddy for your kitchen.
- A food bin to put out weekly for collection.
- 3 rolls of liners for your kitchen caddy, delivered annually. If you run out before your delivery you can order more online.
All raw and cooked food can go in your food bin. See our A-Z recycling guide for more information.
- Please remove all packaging first and use and tie the bin liners provided.
- No liquids in the bin and remember to keep the lid closed.
