Engagement with people using the service

During the last financial year, people who use the service and their families/carers were consulted through feedback questionnaires and a parent/carer focus group. Questionnaires were issued to families and carers to gather views on how the service operates, including care delivery, reviews and communication. A parent/carer focus (steering) group was established, providing opportunities for families to influence service developments, including environmental improvements. Ongoing consultation also takes place through individual reviews and regular communication with families, with feedback used to inform service improvements.
