Day Opportunities for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Neurodivergent Conditions, and Mental Health Needs
We offer building based, and community-based, opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, and mental health conditions across Carmarthenshire.
We have building based services located at:
- Manor Road, Ammanford
- Coleshill, Caemaen and Maeslliedi in Llanelli
- Johnstown, Carmarthen
We utilise local community facilities e.g. leisure centres, libraries, community centres, the coastal path and public gardens/ parks. Participants can engage in a variety of meaningful activities, including cooking, gardening, walking, sports, music, crafts, therapies, and sensory experiences.
Our person-centred approach focuses on creating a supportive environment that builds on individual strengths. This enables participants to learn, build skills, gain independence, and enhance their overall health and wellbeing.
To access this support, you will need to have assessment of need. More information about assessments is available here: How to Get Help
You will need to discuss this with your social worker/care manager and you may then be offered a Care assessment.
If you are eligible for services, this will be included in your care plan. There maybe a charge and you will be offered a financial assessment which will determine how much you will need to contribute towards your care.
Before your service commences you will have the opportunity to visit our services and meet staff to ensure that the service is suitable for you.
Communities Supporting adults to grow, develop and feel safe, belonging to their community.
