Get creative with party decorations - bunting and banners are reusable alternatives. Bubbles also make a great alternative to balloons for children's parties.
Consider changing to rechargeable batteries. Alternatively check if there's a battery recycling point where you work, if there isn't have a look at setting one up. Some companies collect them for free
