Bottle / recycling banks

We provide kerbside collections for glass to 96% of households across the county, and this will increase by the end of 2025. We are therefore reducing the number of glass recycling banks around the county, where there is no longer a need for them. From January to the end of March 2024, sites will be removed and the remaining 20% will be focussed in areas of most need and usage. At some sites you can also recycle other items e.g. textiles and small electricals.
Containers are emptied frequently but some sites are heavily used so please take your waste home if the banks are full. Do not leave items on the ground as this is fly tipping and you may be issued with a fixed penalty notice.
