Temporary suspension of fridge and freezer disposal at recycling centres
Due to the disruption to the collection and reprocessing of refrigeration appliances, all of our recycling centres have now reached, or exceeded, their safe storage capacity for fridges, freezers and other cooling appliances.
With immediate effect, we are unable to accept fridges, freezers or other cooling appliances at any recycling centre until further notice.
This temporary measure is necessary to ensure our sites remain safe and compliant while existing stock is cleared.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank residents for their patience and understanding. We will provide an update as soon as collections resume.
Changes to recycling and waste collections in Carmarthenshire over the Summer Bank Holiday
All collections will take place one day later than usual.
