Car Park Charges
Below are a list of all the car parks managed by our Parking Services. You will find information on short/long stay charges and season ticket charges. You can purchase 3, 6 or 12 month season tickets from our cashiers within our customer service centres.
Periods of free parking in council-run short stay car parks are being introduced across Carmarthenshire as part of a new pilot initiative.
In St. Clears you can park for free Monday to Wednesday, 10am – 2pm in short stay car parks. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal, however the ticket will be issued with no charge at these times for the duration of the pilot.

Transfer of pay and display tickets
A ticket purchased from a Ticket Machine located in a SHORT stay car park situated in the towns of Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llandovery and Newcastle Emlyn will be transferrable between each and every short stay car/parking bay in the said towns.
A ticket purchased from a Ticket Machine located in a LONG stay car park situated in the towns of Ammanford (exception for Hall Street car park), Llandeilo, Llandovery and Newcastle Emlyn will be transferrable between each and every LONG stay car/parking bay in the said towns.
Periods of free parking in council-run short stay car parks are being introduced across Carmarthenshire as part of a new pilot initiative.
In Carmarthen you can park for free Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3.30pm – 6pm in short stay car parks. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal, however the ticket will be issued with no charge at these times for the duration of the pilot.
As part of the five free parking days the council offers town centres every year, the Council has approved free parking in Carmarthen Town on Friday the 19th of July 2024. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal.

Transfer of pay and display tickets
A ticket purchased from a Ticket Machine located in a SHORT stay car park will be transferrable between each and every short stay car/parking bay in the Carmarthen town centre.
A ticket purchased from a Ticket Machine located in a LONG stay car park will be transferrable between each and every LONG stay car/parking bay in the Carmarthen town centre (except for Priory Street car park).
Periods of free parking in council-run short stay car parks are being introduced across Carmarthenshire as part of a new pilot initiative.
In Llanelli you can park for free Mondays and Tuesdays, 10am-4pm in short stay car parks. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal, however the ticket will be issued with no charge at these times for the duration of the pilot.
As part of the five free parking days the council offers town centres every year, the Council has approved free parking in Llanelli Town on Wednesday 27th March 2024. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal.

A ticket purchased from a ticket machine located in a LONG stay car park will be transferrable between each and every LONG stay car/parking bay in the Llanelli town centre (except for Edgar Street car park).
Periods of free parking in council-run short stay car parks are being introduced across Carmarthenshire as part of a new pilot initiative.
In Ammanford you can park for free Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10-2pm in short stay car parks. You will still need to obtain a ticket and display it as normal, however the ticket will be issued with no charge at these times for the duration of the pilot.

- Millennium Coastal Park - this includes: North Dock, Sandy Water Park, Rotary Way, Bynea, Burry Port Harbour, Woodlands, Burry Port, Festival Fields, Marsh Road
If you are unable to purchase your parking permit at home and require some assistance, you can attend at any of the following locations where the staff will be more than happy to assist you in your purchase:

To apply for an annual parking permit you will need to upload or bring with you when purchasing in person documentation to show that your vehicle(s) are registered to your home address. (Log book or Insurance document)
