Joining is easy, you can also do this online. It will only take a few minutes and you can start to search our extensive catalogue and reserve your books. You'll also have access to our digital library. There are over 19,000 comic and books free for you to download, practice for your driving theory test, download newspapers, learn a new language, choose from over 500 interactive stories & activities for children aged 4-12+ years, learn a new subject and much more!

We’re excited to welcome you back to a refreshed library experience, packed with new features designed to make your visit smoother, quicker, and more convenient.

  • Self-service reservation lockers – pick up your reserved items at a time that suits you.
  • A book vending machine with over 400 titles – grab a great read whenever you like.
  • Public PCs available during opening hours – perfect for browsing, research, or staying connected.

Staff members will be on hand on select dates to help with queries, memberships, reservations, and general support. Staff will be available at the following times:

  • Wednesday 4 February: 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Wednesday 11 February: 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Wednesday 18 February: 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Friday 20 February: 10 – 11am
  • Wednesday 25 February: 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Friday 27 February: 10 – 11am
