Anyone who lives, works or studies in Carmarthenshire can enjoy our Digital Library.  There are over 19,000 comic and books free for you to download, practice for your driving theory test, download newspapers, learn a new language, choose from over 500 interactive stories & activities for children aged 4-12+ years, learn a new subject, get up to speed on computer software with online tutorials, have access to online academic journals, search through hundreds of encyclopaedias as well as over 200,000 images and audio files, and nearly 200 videos. If you are preparing for life in the UK you can prepare for the Life in the UK Test or British citizenship test.

You will need to be a library member and have your library card details to access the digital library services and apps.

BFI Replay

BFI Replay is a free-to-access, digital archive from the BFI (British Film Institute), exclusively available in UK public lending libraries, including all Carmarthenshire libraries. 

BFI Replay uncovers stories from across the UK, its history and its people, with over 60 years of film, television and video from all corners of the UK.   Relive, research and lose yourself in the past with 1000s of digitised videos and TV programmes from the collections of the BFI National Archive and partner UK Regions and nations Film Archives.

Watch the world as we knew it and the communities who lived it.  From Local history videos from the 1980s Miner’s strike to ‘Our Language’ section and watch David Parry-Jones interview local legend Ray Gravell in Welsh.
