Project Overview
As part of the wider education reform in the Cwm Gwendraeth and Dinefwr area Ysgol Dyffryn Aman received investment to transform and modernise its education provision. The development which saw an extension, the refurbishment of one of its existing buildings plus two new buildings was carried out in four phases.
The extension houses a new 6th form common room, library, staff workrooms, science laboratories, and a reception area. Additionally, Canolfan Amanwy a specialist teaching centre for pupils with multiple learning difficulties is located within one of the new buildings.
Also included within the investment was the procurement of three new sports fields, a cricket pitch, changing rooms and shower facilities.
