Why are we consulting
This proposal has been developed in response to the current over subscription at Ysgol Heol Goffa, a trend that is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. Growing demand for school places is placing significant pressure on the Local Authority’s ability to accommodate pupils.

Next Steps
A Consultation Report will be taken to the Cabinet for a decision on whether or not to proceed with the proposal. The Consultation Report will summarise the observations submitted by consultees and Carmarthenshire County Council’s response to these observations.
