The Cilycwm Road scheme is a development of 14 homes for social rent in the beautiful market town of Llandovery in the northwest of Carmarthenshire. The town is nestled on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and is approximately a 40 min drive to both Carmarthen and Ammanford. The town sits on the banks of the river Tywi and is a gateway to the nearby Cambrian Mountains to the north or Bannau Brycheiniog to the South. This ensures you can access plenty of walking and cycling trails which are within easy reach. It is a well-known tourist attraction, with a rich history that can be seen in its many attractions which includes hotels, shops, bars and cafes.
The town boasts a Primary School, Leisure Centre, Supermarket and a College and is well served by the A40 which heads west to Carmarthen, Ammanford and Llanelli or east towards Brecon. There are good public transport links with the scenic Heart of Wales train running through the Town as well as regular bus routes. The Town is also home to the Llandovery Drovers rugby team who play in Wales’ Super Rygbi Cymru League.
Work on the development is progressing well, with the homes due to be completed and available for letting in Autumn 2027.
