Dryslwyn has been well served by its post office and community shop for the past 17 years and faced with closure, the volunteers who run the well-loved shop, have successfully secured funding to construct a new purpose-built facility.

The new development of the 2,000sq ft building, will create a fantastic new post office, shop, and community hub including a café for residents of Dryslwyn, Cwrt Henri and surrounding areas.

Funding has also safeguarded a part time job, helped to recruit and train seven new volunteers and improved by over a hundred the number of locals actively engaged with the new community hub, due to open autumn 2026.
