Mynydd y Betws Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

Mynydd y Betws Wind Farm is a renewable energy project developed and operated by Cambrian Renewable Energy Ltd (CREL). A wholly-owned subsidiary of ESB (Electricity Supply Board). The project is located on an upland area of common land known as Mynydd y Betws in Carmarthenshire in South West Wales. The Wind Farm entered commercial operation in 2013. Betws Wind Farm are committed to providing a community support fund for the benefit of communities near Mynydd y Betws Wind Farm over a 25 year period.

We manage the Community Benefit Fund on behalf of Betws Wind Farm for the eligible Carmarthenshire fund areas. There is a similar fund in eligible wards in Neath Port Talbot, for further details about their fund, please contact 01639 763390.
