Public Notice: Application under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 - Penygroes Concrete Products Limited
The company known as Penygroes Concrete Products Limited, Norton Road, Penygroes, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 7RU has submitted an application to Carmarthenshire County Council to vary its environmental permit blending cement in bulk to manufacture concrete blocks. The variation requests permission to receive, store and blend ‘Equilibrium fluidised catalytic cracking catalyst’ (referred to as E-Cat) to manufacture concrete blocks at Norton Road, Penygroes, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 7RU.
The application has been placed on the public register held at: Carmarthenshire County Council Offices, Ty Parc yr hyn, Ffordd Y Rhyd, Ammanford, and can be inspected free of charge by contacting Lisa Jones on 01269 598255 during normal office hours or e-mail PublicProtection@carmarthenshire.gov.uk.
Any written comments on the application should be made to the Pollution Control Team, Carmarthenshire County Council, Ty Parc yr hyn, Ffordd Y Rhyd, Ammanford, SA18 3FB or PublicProtection@carmarthenshire.gov.uk by 9 August 2025.
Any written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.
