Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 16 (A) As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 The County Of Carmarthenshrie (Special Events) (Get Connected Mewla Rally) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend to make an Order to facilitate the holding of the Get Connected Mewla Rally (‘the Event’). The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from causing or permitting any vehicle including any unauthorised bicycles to proceed along that length of the road, being the C2167 from a point 2.4 kilometres north-east of its junction with the A40, for a distance of 130 metres in a north-easterly direction on Sunday 24th August 2025 between 06:00 hours and 18:00 hours. 

There will be no alternative route.

The Order is necessary to enable the ‘Get Connected Mewla Rally’ to take place. 

The Order shall apply as to prevent any person from causing any vehicle to proceed or to wait on or in the said lengths of road referred to above.

The Order will also contain exemptions for any motor vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes or for statutory undertakers attending an emergency, for motor vehicles used in connection with the event or anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.   
The Order comes into effect on 06:00 a.m. Sunday, 24thth August, 2025 and will continue in force until 18:00 hours the same day.
