The County Of Carmarthenshire (The U2127 Unclassified Roadway At Llanybri From Its Junction With The C2039 Roadway From St Clears To Llansteffan) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along that length of the the Unclassified Road leading from Llanybri to its junction with the C Class road from St Clears to Llansteffan for a distance of 386 metres in a south-westerly direction.
The Alternative Route The alternative route for south-west bound traffic traveling along the Unclassified Road from Llanybri will be to proceed in a general south-easterly direction along the C Class road (from St Clears to Llanybri), passing a property known as Plasypant, to its junction with Lon Y Deri. At the junction turn right and continue in general westerly direction along Lon Y Deri, passing a property known as Brynhyfryd, to its junction with the Unclassified Road at Llanybri. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-easterly direction along the Unclassified Road at Llanybri, passing a property known as Gilfach-wen, to return to a point south-west of the closure. Vice versa for north-east bound traffic.
The proposed Order will continue in force until Openreach complete works to an underground and overhead structure. It is intended that the works will commence on the 23rd June 2025, for a period of 12 days.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months.
