Auditorium

144-seat capacity with steep tiered seating looking down onto the stage.

The historical building was built in 1932 in classical style from red brick with terracotta columns on the front and a slate roof, using slate from North Wales. It has a 144-seat capacity with steep tiered seating looking down onto the stage. There are paintings of pagan images on the walls, mainly featuring goats and the sun. There is a Bechstein piano.

Parking: There is a decent sized pay-and-display car park at the theatre with relatively cheap parking and many free-parking slots throughout the week (currently free between 10am and 2pm Mondays to Wednesdays).

Catering: A catering vehicle could easily fit in the car park.

Filming restrictions: The theatre is only open for shows, so we can be very flexible if filming is required. There are fewer shows here than the other two theatres, so it is potentially available on more days.

Drone restrictions: None

It is the old Miners’ institute, built in 1932. Classical-style architecture. Pagan paintings on the walls.

Grade II listed building.
