Do you want to boost your business in Carmarthenshire? Learning Welsh is a great way to connect with customers and show your support for the local community. We offer a range of free courses starting in September 2025 (subject to numbers). Help yourself and your team feel more confident using Welsh in the workplace
All courses are tutor led in an online classroom.
Intermediate Monday 09:00 – 12:00 22 Sept 2025 – June 2026
Suitable for those that have completed Entry and Foundation or have achieved GCSE or Welsh A level (2nd language) in Welsh. For those that are familiar with the main patterns of Welsh. There’s a little more writing, reading and listening at this level.
Intermediate Tuesday 17:00 – 20:00 23 Sept 2025 – June 2026
Suitable for those that have completed Entry and Foundation or have achieved GCSE or Welsh A level (2nd language) in Welsh. For those that are familiar with the main patterns of Welsh. There’s a little more writing, reading and listening at this level.
Increase Confidence Wednesday 09:30 – 11:00 24 Sept 2025 – Dec 2025
A course designed for those who can understand Welsh but want to build the confidence to speak it in everyday conversations.
Welsh for beginners Wednesday 17:00 – 20:00 24 Sept 2025 – June 2026
A course aimed at beginners, where you will learn to speak about everyday activities such as your work, family and friends, and hobbies.
Welsh for beginners Thursday 09:00 – 12:00 25 Sept 2025 – June 2026
A course aimed at beginners, where you will learn to speak about everyday activities such as your work, family and friends, and hobbies.
Foundation Friday 09:00 – 12:00 26 Sept 2025 –June 2026
Aimed at those that already have a basic understanding of Welsh. This course builds on Entry (Mynediad) level to teach all the basic patterns of the Welsh language.
