Why are we consulting
We are working with AtkinsRéalis to undertake improvements on the reconfiguration of the A484 Sandy Road/Maes Y Coed in Llanelli, with the vision of alleviating traffic build-up and congestion along the westbound carriageway, to improve journey times and safety along the carriageway.
We are looking to involve the public on our proposal to ensure that we are implementing an appropriate scheme given the challenging constraints of this particular location and provide reassurance that that this proposal will improve traffic flow amongst this key corridor to and from Llanelli town centre.

Next Steps
The feedback we receive from this engagement will be considered to confirm the final scheme design and more importantly, allow the public the opportunity to understand the interventions we are putting in place to try and resolve the key challenges experienced at this specific location.
