What is ShopMobility?

ShopMobility is a service that offers the loan of mobility equipment—such as manual wheelchairs, powerchairs, and mobility scooters—to help individuals with limited mobility enjoy greater independence when out and about.

Who can use ShopMobility?

Anyone of any age can use local ShopMobility services. ShopMobility is not only for elderly individuals or people with chronic disabilities.
If you're recovering from surgery, dealing with a temporary injury, or simply find it difficult to walk long distances, ShopMobility can support you.
Perhaps you've broken a leg, feel weak after an operation, or care for a child with mobility needs—whatever your situation, your local ShopMobility centre is here to help you stay mobile and access local shops and amenities with ease.

Where can I Hire?

Carmarthen Shopmobility

Location: Located on the ground floor of Catherine Streets multi-storey car park in Carmarthen, the service is ideally placed to assist individuals.
Facilities: We also have a disabled toilet that is large enough for a scooter to be taken in.
Operating Days & Times: Monday to Saturday 10am – 3:45pm
Cost: £3 - ½ day hire, £5 full day hire

How to hire

You need to be a member to hire equipment - you can join when you hire: all you need is two forms of ID.
