What were you doing before you applied?
My only previous work experience was from a small convenience store that I worked at while I studied for my A-Levels.
Why did you apply?
I applied for my current apprentice position because I wanted to gain some valuable skills and experience within a different environment and build my foundation skills in business.
What team do you work in?
My role within the council is a regional one which covers South West Wales, where I am involved in data gathering, reporting and insight for the Regional Learning & Skills Partnership (RLSP)
An outline of what your job involves.
I have been introduced to working with data and using data to derive evidence-based decision making, I’m still very early in this process and have a lot more to learn, but so far I am really enjoying working with data and understanding its vital place in business.
How do you find doing the Business Admin qualification?
My assessors and line managers have been very helpful and supportive in my learning progression, and I feel I have a good support network around me to ensure success in my apprenticeship.
