Bespoke Locality Study
Your pupils set the questions. What do they want to find out about their locality? We meet on Teams for introductions and an overview of how the Archives can help with a research project looking at your locality. Then the pupils ask questions about their locality that they would like to find out about. They then visit us at the Archives (around 2 weeks later) and carry out the research.
Typical sessions include the following documents: census, maps, photographs, trade directories, newspaper articles, baptism, marriage, burial records.
Most importantly, all our documents are local. We can help tell the story of your local area.
