Night-time services (Non-residential)
15. Night-time services (Non-residential)
Carmarthenshire will charge for assessed services included in the care and support plan which are provided during the night.
Persons that normally reside is settings which provide care and/or support 24/7, such as Supported Accommodation and Shared Lives will have all their Attendance Allowance (AA), or Disability Living Allowance care component (DLA), or Personal Independence Payment Daily Living (PIP), including the night-time element of these care related benefits included in their financial assessment.
Normally, the difference between AA higher rate and lower rate and the difference between DLA care component higher rate and middle rate and the difference between PIP daily living enhanced and daily living basic is treated as the element paid for night-time care.
