Our Promise and Our Purpose
Communities Supporting adults to grow, develop and feel safe, belonging to their community.
The Skills Hub offers opportunities for individuals with a disability or mental health condition who face barriers when trying to access training and work opportunities. We support people to overcome these barriers and to develop skills with a range of activities with support.
Activities include:
- Pottery
- Woodwork
- Daily Living Skills
- Total Communication work
We offer training opportunities to people who are looking to seek new skills and work experience.

Our Craftspeople are truly talented people, who can do anything they put their minds to!
Everyone enjoys what they do and that shows in the products they make.
We hope you enjoy the products as much as we enjoy making them, a lot of love and thought goes into each product and the process of making just one item can take many weeks of hard work, determination, and skill.
My name is Debbie I’m really funny and have a great sense of humour, I’m really friendly and enjoy working with the pottery. I am able to make all items from scratch and always help new people that start in the team so that they are happy and have a great day.
My name is Carl I’m very friendly and have lots of friends, I’m helpful, always try my best and enjoy having fun and joking around. I really enjoy painting the Welsh Ladies and Cockle Ladies.
My name is Kim I’m a helpful friend who is always happy help others and be part of the team. I love to paint the pottery and I’m always happy and a good team player. I really love it when the pottery comes out of the kiln because it looks so good.
My name is Huw and I’m always happy, I’m really funny, have the best jokes, I’m a good friend to everyone I meet. I love making the pottery and giving people tours of our site in Cross Hands so please feel free to stop by and say hi.

My name is Stephen, I am a good friend to everyone I meet, I have an awesome sense of humour and really like to laugh with my friends, I love to make coasters; I love to roll out the clay and then paint the coasters with whatever colours I feel like painting on the day. Everyone tells me that they like my coasters and that makes me feel good.
My name is Georgia and I’m a really good team player who enjoys painting the pottery so that’s it is perfect, I really enjoy being with my friends.

Hello, my name is Lance and I volunteer at Coleshill, Llanelli. I had an industrial accident years ago and I am unable to stand for long periods of time. I give what time I can to Coleshill to teach people with disabilities how to use a lathe and make wonderful creations such as bowl, Christmas decorations, pens and much more. I really enjoy helping people and have recently adapted a lathe setup so that it is wheelchair friendly, meaning that more people can try a new and exciting opportunity.

Samina is a young lady with autism who certainly pays attention to detail during her pottery sessions and has a great eye for colour and design. Samina thoroughly enjoys the sessions and gets so much satisfaction from them.
In loving memory of Rose, we were saddened to lose our dear friend Rose in August 2023. Rose would light up a room with her warmth and caring nature, working on the Welsh Ladies and Cockle Ladies was a big part of her day and we were so privileged to work alongside Rose and we miss her every day. If you ae lucky enough to come across a Welsh Lady named Rose who is wearing the flower this lady has been lovingly made in her memory, so please take extra care of her.
