Course Fees

Please phone 01267 235413, e-mail or use our Enquiry  form to register your interest, enrol or to make further enquiries. On the start date of your course you will complete an enrolment form and make your payment. Payment can be by cash, cheque made payable to 'Carmarthenshire County Council' or online (link provided on enrolment). Please bring a copy of your photographic ID with you

We have a £10 centre registration fee and £50 exam registration fee (when ready), or £200 a term for ESOL learners if not eligible for our Welsh Government funding.

 

Essential skills or ESOL learner

All learners must complete an informal chat with a staff member before enrolment. The chat with our staff members is so we can find out the best class for you in terms of level and pace.

You can enrol at any time during the year.  Please bring a copy of your photographic ID (passport and residence permit) with you

We aim to deliver all courses as advertised. However, courses may be cancelled, or changed, if enrolments are too low, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

 

Concessions

There are no concessions for courses offered by Dysgu Sir Gȃr.

 

Bursary

There is currently no bursary available for Dysgu Sir Gȃr courses funded by Welsh Government.

 

Refunds

Learning Carmarthenshire reserves the right to cancel any course/class because there is an insufficient number of learners enrolled, or for any other operational reasons, and in such cases tuition and, where appropriate, registration fees will automatically be refunded to those enrolled.

Learners who enrol early and wish to withdraw before the start of the course/class are entitled to a refund providing the request is received in writing at least 10 working days before the start date.

Once the course has started refunds will not normally be given to learners who withdraw.

Requests for refunds relating to personal circumstances must be made in writing, to the Community Learning Manager stating clearly the reason for the request and producing a copy of the original receipt
