Ten Towns
Our Ten Towns initiative is to support the economic recovery and growth of rural towns across the County.
The initiative was established as a direct response to our Moving Rural Carmarthenshire Forward Plan, which sets out a number of key recommendations to support the regeneration of rural Carmarthenshire.
Each plan will have their own priority actions, which will include actions to support:
- Covid-19 recovery
- Business growth
- Smart digital towns and countryside
- Tourism and visitor economy
- Re-use of buildings and land development
The development of the growth plans are part funded via the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Union.
