Adult Learning Courses

All learners have the right to attend courses without fear of discrimination, harassment or abuse. If you feel you have been discriminated against, harassed or abused, please report this at once to your tutor or the management team. Please also tell us if you see this happening to someone else. If necessary, we will take disciplinary action against any learner who does not behave in an acceptable way.

Regarding qualifications: you are entitled to appeal if you feel that your tutor, an assessor, or a verifier has made an incorrect decision about your work, or not taken sufficient account of any special assessment needs.

We want you to enjoy your course - so if you have any problems or complaints, please tell us at once - and we’ll do our best to sort things out quickly. We’ll also be glad to hear about your successes and compliments!

Your feedback is important to us. Whether it’s a complaint, a compliment or a suggestion. Telling us will help us to improve our services and share best practice. Please visit our Compliments and Complaints page.

Please note:

  • We plan for all our classes to run – but occasionally we may have to cancel a class if numbers are too low.
  • If any fees have been paid, we can only refund in exceptional circumstances, on written request.
  • Your tutor will explain the Health and Safety points relating to your class to you.
  • Essential skills and ESOL courses will require official identification evidence to prove eligibility.
