The County Of Carmarthenshire (With The Exception Of Carmarthen, Llanelli And Ammanford) (Waiting Restriction And Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation Number 43) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Carmarthenshire County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(3), 4, 32(1), 35 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Traffic Management Act 2004, The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Exemptions for Disabled Persons) (Wales) Regulations 2000 and all other enabling powers, intends to make the above-named Order.

The effect of the proposed Order would be:

1. To introduce one Disabled Badge Holders parking bay at each location specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

2. To revoke:

a) The County of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restriction and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation No.19) Order 2012; and

b) The County of Carmarthenshire (with the exception of Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford) (Waiting Restriction and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation No.26) Order 2017,

insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposal herein contained relating to the lengths and sides of the roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with the plans annexed thereto and a statement of the Council’s reasons for wishing to make the Order, may be examined at Carmarthenshire County Council’s Customer Service HWBs, located at:

• No.41 Quay Street, Ammanford SA18 3BS,

During usual office hours.
