Monday

Our IT suite is open from 9am to 5pm every Monday. Come and use our computers to apply for jobs or to assist you with general Council queries. Help is available from one of our team members if you need any support. Drop in at any time, there’s no need to book an appointment.

Tuesday - Employment support

On a Tuesday, we can help you find work by signposting you to a variety of programmes including Workways, Communities 4 Work, Legacy and Fusion projects. Support is available for those aged 16 and over.

These programmes offer:

  • Jobsearch support & skills
  • Training
  • Education
  • Help into employment
  • Work placements and more.

Drop in at any time, there’s no need to book an appointment.

Wednesday – Community day

Every Wednesday morning, you will have the opportunity to meet the town centre team from Dyfed Powys Police. Call in at any time to discuss any of your concerns.

On the first Wednesday of the month, we will host a variety of drop in sessions delivered by 3rd sector organisations and charities, to include Veteran’s Support.

Friday – Housing support

If you are already on the housing register and need help bid for a new property please contact us to make an appointment and one of our staff will help you through the process.

As part of a six month trial, the Rural Hwb will be heading out into five pilot communities (Meidrim, Cwmann, Llanybydder, Ffarmers and Crugybar). The mobile libraries and customer services are working together to provide services that Carmarthenshire County Council offer on the door step of those living in rural areas.
