Permission for seasonal decorations

If you want to install seasonal decorations, including Christmas and other decorations, on and above a road or linked to a road, for example by an electrical connection, you must apply for permission.

All applications must be submitted a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the proposed installation date.

Please provide the following when submitting your application:

• Detailed plans showing location(s), arrangement(s), type of decoration(s), size and electrical load
  
• Insurance Certificate
  
• Safety Certificates for anchorage points
  
• Copies of written approval for placing decorations on or to any structures

There is no charge for this application.
