We are taking a phased approach to the re-introduction of our libraries to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.  There is a lot of work involved to make sure the necessary social distancing measures are in place. We are working hard to offer as many of our library services as possible, your patience is really appreciated at this time.

We will continue to review the situation and update our website with information on when you’ll be able to visit your nearest library.

Don’t forget if you’re unable to get to Carmarthen, Ammanford or Llanelli you can request books to be delivered to your home.

If you’ve used the click and collect service, you don’t need to make an appointment to return items. There will be a separate entrance to drop off your books. This will be clearly signposted at the library.

If you have received a home delivery, we will arrange collection the same time as delivery.

You will have a 10 minute time slot to collect your books. Please arrive on time, if you miss your time slot you will have to arrange another click and collect appointment.

You will need to bring your membership card or identification like a driving licence to match the details of the person who reserved the items. Remember, you must be a library member to use this service.

As long as they bring your membership card or identification like a driving licence to match your details.

If you miss your time slot you will have to arrange another click and collect appointment.

If you booked your appointment online, you can manage it through your My Hwb Account. If you no longer want the books you reserved, you will also need to log in to your online library account.

You can also call the library and speak to one of our team. We currently have limited staff in our library, so if you do not get through first time, please try one of the other lines.
