Candidate Sites
Between February and August 2018, the Council invited submissions from developers, landowners and the public for sites that could be included for new development, re-development or protection in the Revised LDP. These sites are known as “candidate sites”.
As part of the preparation of the Deposit Revised LDP, each candidate site has been assessed in accordance with the Site Assessment Methodology. The Register is available via the downloads box below.
For candidate sites allocated within the Deposit Revised LDP, a detailed assessment has been undertaken including a sustainability appraisal of the site.
