Planned road closure
Applications for closures more than Five days duration require eight weeks' notice before you expect the roadworks to start.
Applications for closures up to Five days duration require six weeks' before you expect the roadworks to start.
If you can maintain a road width of 3.2 metres or more, you do not need to apply for a road closure but you will need to inform us of the works and depending on the nature of the roadworks you may need to request lighting portable traffic and the relevant street works licence.
