The County Of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restrictions And Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation Number 44) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Carmarthenshire County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(3), 4, 32(1), 35 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, intends to make the above-named Order.

The effect of the proposed Order would be:

1.To introduce one Disabled Badge Holders Only parking bay at each of the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. To revoke “The County of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004” and “The County of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restriction and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation No.38) Order 2020” insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals herein contained and relate to the lengths and sides of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

Full details of the proposal are contained in the draft Order which, together with the plans annexed thereto and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at Carmarthenshire County Council’s Customer Service HWB located at No.36 Stepney Street, Llanelli SA15 3TR during usual office hours.

All objections or other representations must specify the grounds on which they are made.
