The County Of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restrictions And Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation Number 44) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 4th of May 2026, Carmarthenshire County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(3), 4, 32(1), 35 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order is:
1. To introduce one Disabled Badge Holders Only parking bay at each of the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. To revoke “The County of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004” and “The County of Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) (Waiting Restriction and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation No.38) Order 2020” insofar as they are inconsistent with the provisions herein contained and relate to the lengths and sides of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The Order will come into operation on the 15th of May 2026 and a copy of the Order, together with plans showing the affected sections of road, can:
• be viewed on Carmarthenshire County Council’s website at https://www. carmarthenshire.gov.wales/home/council-democracy/public-notices; or
• be requested by contacting Carmarthenshire County Council’s Highways Department at ENTrafficManagement@carmarthenshire.gov.uk.
Any persons wishing to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that:
a) it is not within the powers conferred by the Act; or
b) a requirement of the Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order,
may, within six (6) weeks of the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High
Court for this purpose.
