The Hospitality Academi project will deliver a range of Level 1-3 accredited short courses to meet the needs of the evolving hospitality, leisure, accommodation, and tourism sector in Carmarthenshire. The courses will support people within the sector and those thinking of joining (or rejoining) it.

With more and more visitors coming to Wales, the tourism and hospitality sector is growing and needs more staff. There is a huge variety of roles on offer within the sector, but it continues to experience recruitment and retention challenges.

The Hospitality Academi will help to upskill individuals to match them with appropriate employment vacancies and support businesses to keep staff or reduce recruitment gaps - in both front and back of house teams. Courses will include customer service, communication, conflict management, health and safety, infection control, mental health awareness, basic life support skills, leadership, and management.
