The Business in Focus project aims to build on previous work to support new micro / small businesses to start up and existing ones to become more sustainable, innovative, and competitive, particularly those that don't engage with mainstream business support services offered through Business Wales or Big Ideas Wales.
It will provide a community-based ‘one-stop shop’ (Business Enterprise Hub) in Carmarthen offer support and advice on business essentials such as recruitment, legal, marketing, policies and processes, and grant applications. The Business Enterprise Hub will also bring a focus to digital adoption, carbon reduction and other local priority growth sectors.
Business Mentors will provide support through a mix of face-to-face meetings, workshops, and events as well as online webinars, networks, and virtual appointments. In addition, the Hub will offer managed co-working spaces and meeting rooms, as well as opportunities for businesses to ‘test-trade’.
