NappiCycle has been successfully implementing a treatment process since 2015 at our approved facility in Capel Hendre Industrial Estate. Currently, this process manages approximately 8,000 tons of waste annually, which mainly includes used baby nappies.

Innovatively, NappiCycle has devised a new process solution to prepare fibre in a format suitable for potential end-use markets. Through the Shared Prosperity Standalone fund, this solution can be scaled up for larger production. The allocation of funding will support research and development, plant expansion, providing long-term benefits such as reduced gate fees for local authorities and the creation of high-quality employment opportunities.

This project falls within the framework of the 'Strategic Countywide Net Zero' theme, with a specific focus on enhancing efficiencies and minimising waste in both the design and production processes.
