This project aims to develop facilities at the camping and caravan site at Pembrey Country Park. This will boost the rating of the park from 3-star to 4-star on VisitWales and will align with the park’s objectives of being an environmentally sustainable destination as part of Project Zero Sir Gâr.

Funding will be used to replace the existing demountable amenity block in the campsite with a permanent structure. This will include washing facilities (indoor and outdoor) and a bike wash station, installation of sustainable energy to power and improve the existing electric camping pitches while also installing new electric post to pitches.

Ultimately, the changes will boost tourism in the area and improve the park experience for visitors – local and national.
