Project Overview

This project included a comprehensive remodelling of the former Morfa Junior School building following the successful completion of statutory procedures for discontinuing the former Morfa Infants and Morfa Junior Schools and establishing the new Ysgol Maes y Morfa. The new school named Ysgol Maes Y Morfa community Primary School was established in September 2008 providing education for 3-11 age range pupils with a capacity for 210 primary pupil places and 30 nursery places. A new purpose-built Integrated Children’s Centre was also developed as part of the new school.
