Matters Arising Changes

The Council has compiled a Schedule of Matters Arising Changes (MACs) primarily as a result of Action Points arising from the Examination Hearing Sessions. These changes are required to make the Plan sound. All of these MACs have been agreed with the Inspectors.

A public consultation on the MACs commenced on 11 May and closed on 26 June 2026. The consultation was limited solely to the MACs, the ISA addendum and the HRA addendum only. Any representations received relating to other elements of the Plan were deemed to be not duly made.

What next?

The Council has provided a consultation response report for the MACs (including copies of the duly made representations) to the Inspectors. A copy of this report can be viewed here. It is anticipated that the Planning Inspectors’ report will be received in late summer / early autumn.
