Project Overview
The investment at Ysgol Y Strade provided a substantial standalone extension to provide a new Science and Design and Technology (D&T) department. The existing Science and D&T rooms within the existing school building were refurbished and transformed into a mixture of Music and Media classrooms including a dedicated 6th form classroom.
Project Cost
The project cost was £8.245m. Funded 50% by Welsh Government through its 21st Century Schools and Colleges Programme and 50% by the Local Authority's Modernising Education Programme.
