Report a missed bin collection

We use various vehicles to collect your waste. Although some collections may occur on the same day for example black bags and glass bottles and jars, they are collected at different times between 6am and 2pm. Please do not report any missed collections until after 2pm and follow the advice below first.
Before you report a missed collection, please:
- Check you’ve put your recycling and black bags out on the correct day/week. You can check your collection days at any time by entering your postcode below. Remember to check for changes on bank holidays.
- Check we’ve not put a sticker on your container(s) because you’ve overfilled it or because it contains wrong items. The sticker may ask you to correctly sort your container’s contents in time for your next collection. If there is a sticker, please follow the guidance on it. Remember there is a 3 black bag limit per collection, find more help and advice on our black bag webpage.
- Check what time you put your recycling or black bags out? We collect these anytime from 6am, so you should put your container(s) out before this time. If you put it out too late and missed your collection, you may take it to your nearest recycling centre.
- Check if your neighbours’ recycling and black bags have been collected? If not, we may be running late.
- Check our waste disruptions webpage for any major delays in your area.
If you’re unable to understand a reason for your recycling or black bags to have been left behind, please report a missed collection after 2pm on your collection day.
