Removal Of Existing Speed Cushions And Construction Of New Road Humps – B4459, Pencader

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Carmarthenshire County Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Regulations') in accordance with Section 90C(1) of the Act, and in accordance with Sections 90C(2) and 90C(3) of the Act, intends to remove the existing speed cushions and construct new road humps in their place at the same location, in compliance with the Regulations, along the B4459 road in Pencader.
The locations and description of the proposed road humps are more particularly outlined in the Schedule, and shown on the plan annexed, to this Notice.
Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for seeking to implement these measures, may be examined at the office of the Council’s Customer Service HWB located at Unit 22, St Catherine’s Walk, Carmarthen SA31 1GA during usual office hours.
