Public Notice The County Of Carmarthenshire (St Catherine Street Junction Of Parcmaen Street, Carmarthen) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order to temporarily prohibit vehicles on St Catherine Street turning from St Catherine’s Street into Parcmaen Street, Carmarthen
The restriction is necessary to facilitate works to be carried out by Wales and West Utilities to the Gas Mains.
The proposed Order will continue in force until Wales and West Utilities have carried out Gas Mains Replacement works.
It is intended that the works commence on Monday 15th September 2025 until Friday 26th September 2025.
3-way portable traffic signals will be in operation to control traffic flow during the works.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
