The County Of Carmarthenshrie (Special Events) (Llandeilo Classic Car Show 2026) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend to make an Order to facilitate the holding of Llandeilo Classic Car Show 2026 (‘the Event’). The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from causing or permitting any vehicle including any unauthorised bicycles to proceed along the following lengths of road:
a) King street, from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with George Hill for its entire length;
b) Market Street, from its junction with Carmarthen Street to its junction with King Street
Between the hours of 08:00 a.m. and 17:00 p.m. on Sunday the 12th day of July 2026.
The Alternative Route for south-west bound traffic from the A483 Bridge Street, will be to proceed in a north-easterly direction along the A483 Bridge Street and then Rhosmaen Street to its junction with New Road. Turn left at the junction and proceed along New Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Carmarthen Street. Turn left and continue along Carmarthen Street then turn left on to George Hill to return to a point south of the closure.
The Order is necessary to enable the ‘Llandeilo Classic Car Show 2026’ Event to take place.
The Order will not have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to premises situated on or adjacent to any of the roads to which the order relates or to any premises only accessible to pedestrians from such road.
The Order will also contain exemptions for any motor vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes or for statutory undertakers attending an emergency, for motor vehicles used in connection with the event or anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
The Order comes into effect on Sunday the 12th of July 2026 and will continue in force for the period specified above.
