Carmarthenshire County Council Order Under Section 21 Of The Town Police Clauses Act 1847 For The Prevention Of Obstruction
HTTR- 2103
Whereas the roads as specified in the Schedule to this Order will be thronged and liable to be obstructed on Saturday 19th September 2026 for the Llanelli Vintage Festival.
The CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL pursuant to powers conferred by Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 DOES HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that for the purpose of preventing obstruction in the streets listed in the Schedule, the said streets shall be closed to all vehicular traffic including pedal cycles between the hours specified in the Schedule on Saturday 19th September 2026 subject to emergency service vehicles being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes or the purpose of a statutory undertaker or local authority attending an emergency being allowed access to the said streets without delay in the event of an emergency.
SCHEDULE
Cowell Street and Stepney Street, from its junction with John Street to its junction with the A4214 Gelli Onn between 09:00 and16:00 hours.
2. Bridge Street from its junction with the A484 to its junction with Church Street
between 06:00 and 21:00 hours.
